Previewing the New 2025 Kia K4 at Bob Moore Kia
Kia is retiring the compact Forte in favor of the brand-new Kia K4, releasing for the first time in the 2025 cycle. The Kia K4 release date is slated for late Summer of 2024. The K4 promises a sporty exterior, taking notes from Kia’s K5 and Stinger sedans, giving the K4 a more aggressive stance than the Forte ever had. The K4 also brings that stylish design philosophy to the interior, with a clean look and a large display screen commanding the cabin. Kia offers two powertrains on the K4, with a turbocharged variant for those who desire more power. Like the Forte, we expect one of the K4’s biggest assets to be an affordable starting MSRP. While no firm numbers have been released, we expect the MSRP to start around $22,000 and range to around $30,000. Drivers around the OKC metro, including Edmond and Norman, can visit Bob Moore Kia later this Summer to experience what the K4 has to offer.
2025 K4 Engine & Performance
The standard K4 comes equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 147 horsepower. It pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive. If you want more kick, you can upgrade to the 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter that should come with an eight-speed automatic transmission. We don’t have any firm fuel efficiency numbers, but if we expect similar efficiency to the Kia Forte, the K4 should get about 30 MPG in the City and 40 MPG on the highway. Be sure to visit our website to keep track of the K4 as we get more information!
2025 Kia K4 Trim Levels & Design
The new Kia compact sedan should take notes from the Forte when looking at trim levels. We’re expecting five trim levels styled similarly to the Forte, as detailed below:Â
- 2025 Kia K4 LX
- 2025 Kia K4 LXS
- 2025 Kia K4 EX
- 2025 Kia K4 GT-Line
- 2025 Kia K4 GT-Line Turbo
Kia has not announced the available features across the trim levels yet, but we do have details about the interior, including available panoramic wrap-around screens that encompass the digital cluster and the infotainment system. The cabin is modern and stylish, with a sleek dash that sets the tone for the rest of the cabin. Heated and ventilated seats are available for added comfort. While we don’t have the precise interior measurements across the board yet, the K4 offers 38 inches of leg space for passengers in the back row, leading the compact class. Visit our OKC Kia dealership to test drive the K4 when it becomes available!Â
Kia K4 Safety & Technology Features
The 2025 K4 will come with a suite of 11 standard driver assistance features, including automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warnings, lane-keeping, and more. Kia also offers 29 additional driver assistance features, with highlights like adaptive cruise control and lane centering. A 360-degree Surround-View Monitor is also available to help you reverse and park more easily! Connective technology includes sweeping touchscreens that integrate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto seamlessly. Contact Bob Moore Kia today with any questions you have about the K4.
