Kia EV Comparison and Breakdown | Bob Moore Kia Dealership

Looking to ditch the gas station for the supercharger? Kia’s lineup of all-electric vehicles has grown exponentially in recent years, now encompassing four electric vehicles from the Kia Niro to the brand-new Kia EV4 sedan. Kia’s lineup of EVs is the most celebrated in the industry, with models like the Kia EV9 bringing home awards season after season. There’s a lot to love about our EV inventory, and each vehicle serves a different function. We’ll preview the differences between each Kia EV so you have a better sense of which EV makes the most sense for you. Of course, if you’re still not sure, visit Bob Moore’s Kia dealership in Oklahoma City to test drive our all-electric inventory today!

Kia Niro EV

Kia started their electric lineup with the Niro. While the Niro has hybrid and plug-in hybrid variations, it’s the Niro EV we’re highlighting on this page. Introduced in 2020, the Niro delivers a bit-sized take on the EV formula with a subcompact SUV frame. Since it’s the EV to start it all, the rest of Kia’s electric lineup draws styling notes from it, offering a sharp, aggressive design. It’s designed to function as an entry point to Kia’s lineup, so you won’t find overwhelming horsepower numbers or top-end features, but the Niro EV is nicely equipped and perfect for everyday commuting. It’s good for 253 miles of all-electric range, which is pretty in line with this price point of the EV segment. While not the flashiest or the fastest, the Niro EV delivers practicality and value.

Kia EV4

The newest addition to the Kia lineup is the EV4, a sharply styled sedan that might be the best-looking vehicle Kia has ever produced. With sharp lines and a unique silhouette, the EV4 is the rare car that’s not afraid to innovate with its design choices. It’s the only sedan in Kia’s lineup, and in classic Kia form, delivers a wide range of standard features and amenities. While the EV4 doesn’t try to pretend to be a high-performance sedan, it does come with two battery options, including a long-range battery that delivers 330 miles of range. The new EV4 will be capable of charging from 10 to 80 percent at DC fast chargers in 29 minutes, with access to over 40,000 DC fast chargers across the nation, plus a NACS port. We expect to see the EV4 hit our lot for the first time at the beginning of 2026.

Kia EV6

Like the EV4, the EV6 is highly stylized, sharing a platform with the Hyundai Ioniq 5. While the rest of Kia’s EV lineup is focused on delivering comfort, style, and practicality, the EV6 ratchets the horsepower up a notch, offering a slew of powertrain configurations that include single and dual formats. The EV6 can be had with relatively lackluster power in single motor form, but if you opt for two motors, you’ll get 320 or 641 ponies with the ability to sprint from 0 to 60 in as little as 3.2 seconds. Like most of the electric Kia lineup, the EV6 has a couple of batteries to choose from, with up to 319 miles of range available. Of course, the EV6 has all the technology and amenities you expect from a Kia these days, helping make the compact EV a sleeper choice often outshined by the larger Kia EV9.

Kia EV9

While the EV6 and Niro both came out before the EV9, this is the model that propelled Kia’s electric lineup to stardom. The three-row EV has won about every award you can conceive of, including multiple 10/10 rankings from review sites like Car and Driver. What makes the EV9 stand out? Distinct styling, a spacious cabin, and plenty of range given its larger size. The EV9 consistently stands taller than the rest, offering more amenities and features than you’ll find from more expensive rivals. As you’d expect, the EV9 has a couple of different battery options and motor configurations to choose from, with long-range models eclipsing 300 miles of range. At its quickest, the EV9 uses 501 horsepower to run from 0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds. If straight-line speed isn’t a need, though, the EV9 has several other power levels you can choose from.
