At Bob Moore Kia dealership, we’re always looking for ways to give back to the community. Sometimes, that looks like sponsorships with sports programs like the 2026 World Cup and Down to Dunk Podcast; other times, we like to have a more direct impact. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Generation Why, an OKC-based non-profit that aims to inspire and lift up youths dealing with bullying, depression, and more. Jordan Miller founded Generation Why in 2017 to motivate the next generation, helping young people find their purpose by giving them opportunities to pursue their passions. That mission has grown into a school outreach program, where a collaborative of artists use the mediums of dance, rap, and spoken word to inspire kids while combatting bullying and bringing awareness to the realities of suicide. Born amidst a sharp uptick of suicides around OKC in 2017, Generation Why began looking for ways to get involved. Since then, GNWY has reached out to hundreds of schools through assemblies and special events. They’ve also expanded operations to Summer Camps, conferences, and STUCO/FCCLA conventions. Since the pandemic, Generation Why’s message has proved more important than ever, and they’ve become a part of events across Oklahoma and Texas. GNWY reaches tens of thousands of students every year, and Bob Moore Kia dealership is proud to support them as they inspire and connect with young people across Oklahoma.

We have an ongoing sponsorship with GNWY, and most recently, we helped sponsor their Pickleball with Purpose tournament at Chicken N Pickle OKC. We sponsored ten teams at this fundraiser, giving us a chance to connect youths with on-site mentors and forge lasting change for future generations.
