2021 Sedona Changing to 2022 Carnival
2022 Carnival
Appealing to more people with a few key changes, the 2022 KIA Carnival is the replacement for the 2021 KIA Sedona. While this minivan has won the hearts of many families for the past several years, the new Carnival is sure to capture their attention as well. You can find out more at Bob Moore KIA.
Impressive Power
While the 2021 KIA Sedona has had ample power to carry passengers and tow an RV with 3500 pounds maximum towing capacity, the 2022 KIA Carnival adds to the performance with a slightly more powerful engine. Under the hood of the Sedona was a 3.3L V6 with 276 horsepower. The Carnival sports a 3.5L V6 with up to 290 horsepower. This model has the same towing capacity and features an eight-speed automatic transmission.
More Custom Choices
With more trims, the 2022 KIA Carnival offers more options for amenities. Unlike the Sedona, which came with three trims, the Carnival gives you five, which includes an upgrade for the LX with the LX Seat Package. The other trim enhances the SX with the SX Prestige. As the upper trim level, you get more amenities like a tilting and sliding sunroof, 12.3-inch digital cluster display and a heated steering wheel. This trim also comes with VIP lounge seats for passengers in the second row, which recline with headrests and footrests. Listen to your entertainment in this trim through the Bose Premium Audio System with 12 speakers.
Sporty Attitude
Even though the 2021 KIA Sedona carried a stylish attitude as a minivan, the 2022 KIA Carnival leans more to the SUV design. From the front end, you see the muscular wheel wells and front fascia and hood that is similar to a full-size SUV. Even the rear has a more squared end than what you would typically see in a minivan. Best-in-class space in the Carnival will make your passengers happy as you select from three seating options, including heated and ventilated front and second row seats.
More Convenience
One glance at the 2022 KIA Carnival might convince you that this is a brand-new model. In many ways, it has been updated to reflect that idea. At the heart of the Carnival is the same dependability and dedication to safety you’ve come to expect from the KIA Sedona. For instance, rear seat passengers will be quite content on long rides with their own entertainment. They can watch movies or play games until they arrive at their destination. Smart power sliding doors make it easy to slip inside while the intercom system allows the driver to talk to passengers all the way in the back. The rearview mirror gives them a close-up view of those passengers even after dark. USB ports have been placed strategically around the cabin for easy access with all passengers.
