Since its inception in 2020, the Kia Telluride has quickly become the crown jewel of Kia’s lineup. The three-row, midsize SUV started as an unconventional choice, but after winning so many awards, you can’t get on the highway without seeing a Telluride. To celebrate its seventh birthday, the Kia Telluride enters a new generation. The 2027 Kia Telluride arrives fully redesigned, and it might be the most complete three-row SUV Kia has ever built. This all-new Telluride carries bolder styling, a stronger turbocharged engine, and one of the roomiest cabins in its class. The Telluride slots in at the top of Kia’s SUV family, above the Sportage and Sorento, as the brand’s flagship SUV. Oklahoma City families will find plenty to like, from school runs in Edmond to a weekend trip down I-35 toward Norman. Our new Kia inventory already has the redesigned Telluride arriving on the lot. In our guide below, we’ll walk you through the trims, performance, and technology that make this Kia SUV worth a closer look. Come see the new Telluride for sale at Bob Moore Kia in Oklahoma City today!

Under the hood, the 2027 Telluride runs a 2.5-liter turbocharged gas engine making 274 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough muscle for confident merging on the Kilpatrick Turnpike, plus up to 5,000 pounds of towing when you add the available hitch. Front-wheel drive comes standard, and available all-wheel drive with Terrain Mode sends power where you need it during Oklahoma’s surprise ice storms. The Telluride fuel efficiency lands at an EPA-estimated 22 mpg combined on front-drive trims. That dips to around 20 mpg with all-wheel drive and 19 mpg on the trail-ready X-Pro. Prefer better mileage in the same shape? The Telluride Hybrid has you covered, and you can find our breakdown of it here. See the gas Telluride for yourself at our Kia dealership in Oklahoma City.

The 2027 Telluride trim levels run 10 deep, so there’s a version for nearly every budget and taste. The lineup opens with the LX and its 8-passenger bench. From there it climbs through the S, EX, and SX complete with captain’s chairs and premium touches. At the top sit the trail-focused X-Pro and the loaded SX Prestige grades. As a Kia 3-row SUV, the Telluride seats up to eight across three rows, or seven when you opt for second-row captain’s chairs. Cargo is generous too, with 22.3 cubic feet behind the third row and class-leading second-row legroom. Folding both rear rows unlocks about 89.3 cubic feet of cargo volume. Higher trims add dual sunroofs, a Meridian premium audio system, heated and ventilated seats, and a 12-inch head-up display. We think the SX hits the sweet spot for most OKC families, though the X-Pro is the one to grab if your weekends often involve gravel. Kia loaded the redesigned Telluride with tech that feels a step above its price tag. Available Telluride tech features start with a digital cockpit that packs nearly 30 inches of combined screens. You also get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual wireless phone chargers, and USB-C ports in all three rows. On the safety side, up to 29 driver-assistance and collision-avoidance features come aboard. Highlights include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Highway Driving Assist 2, and a 360-degree Surround View Monitor. There’s even a Blind-Spot View Monitor that pipes a live camera feed into the gauge cluster when you signal a lane change. Every new Telluride is also backed by Kia’s 10-year/100,000-mile limited warranty, one of the best in the business. Explore all the tech in person at our Kia dealership serving Edmond and Norman.
