Kia EV9 Charge Range and Electric Performance
The EV9 has several configurations, so we’ll start with the base model, the RWD Light trim level, which features a single motor producing 215 horsepower. In its base form, the 76.1 kWh battery provides a driving range of 230 miles. With the more powerful 99.8 kWh battery, you can achieve a total range of up to 304 miles. If possible, we think it is well worth upgrading to a dual-motor configuration with standard AWD. This will take you to 379 horsepower and makes for a much more engaging driving experience. Dual-motor, AWD models come equipped with the larger battery as a standard feature, which provides a total range of 270-304 miles. Every EV9 is equipped with an 800-volt architecture, enabling it to charge very quickly with DC fast chargers. In 13 minutes of charging, you can recover 100 miles of range. 2025 EV9 Trim Levels and Interior
The three-row configuration has room for seven with a bench in the middle row, and six with captain’s chairs in the middle row. Behind the rear row, you’ll find the trunk has 20.2 cubic feet of volume, increasing to 43.5 cubic feet behind the second row and up to 81.7 cubic feet of total cargo space with all rows folded flat.
