Sportage Redesigned
Entering its fifth year of production, the Kia Sportage received stylish interior and exterior updates and an all-new fully Hyrbid option. Updates to the Sportage include an out-of-this-world exterior with stunning new LED headlight layouts. The Sportage offers a best-in-class cargo space area and some sweet tech and driver-assist updates on the interior. The Kia Sportage will also be available in Plug-in Hybrid and standard gas versions. The 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid will be available in three trim levels:
- LX
- EX
- SX Prestige
All trim levels will be built standard with the new 1.6L Turbo Hybrid Powertrain engine that produces 227 horsepower and 258 lbs of torque. The LX trim level will have the option between all-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive, while EX and SX Prestige Trim levels will only be available in AWD.

Interior & Technology
On the inside, the Kia Sportage Hybrid received some notable updates to match its new exterior styling. Kia extended the length of the Sportage’s cabin, creating more legroom for passengers. This extension creates 39.5 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, beating out direct competition like the Toyota RAV 4.
The Kia Sportage Hybrid has new technology and driver assist features, like the 12.3-inch touchscreen for controlling navigation, media, and driver assist notices. Higher trim levels will have the option of digital instrument buttons, creating an even more prominent look. Touchscreens are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible.
Standard driver assists technology will include adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keeping assist. Other driver-assist features include a 360° Surround View Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Auto Braking Avoidance, and Safe Exit Warnings.
